Catarina is inspired by furniture from the 1950s and 60s, especially the armchairs designed by Gio Ponti, which feature very feminine, rounded shapes. However, they also strike a balance between more defined, sharp lines and the soft form, which is further enhanced. The legs, made of solid walnut, are also rounded or oval, emphasizing the balance between masculine and feminine. We decided to work with a three-legged design, as it creates a lightness that is much harder to achieve with four legs.

Backrest structure in metal covered in leather with special raw cut edges finishing, available in: Soffio, Setanil and Natural Velour. If no preference is specified, the edges feature tone-on-tone lacquering. Seating cushion in expanded polyurethan in two densities, covered in a double layer of acrylic fiber. Backrest cushion in siliconized acrylic fiber. Feet in solid wood available in two versions: bleached Walnut wood or black ash. N.B. The bleached Canaletto Walnut finish is extremely natural therefore, it may exhibit variations in tone and grain
